Had The Scare Of My Life!!!! OMG you will never believe what happened last night......I was so utterly freaked out, I almost went into shock, and passed out..... I was trying to get a matt out of Jeanie's hair, and I had scissors, but I wasn't cutting the matt out, I was cutting "through" it like going with the scissors into it, and then cutting away from her......as I am so freaked out about cutting her..... Anyway, she yiped, so I thought I had pulled her hair (which I had I realized later).....but what happened next was a nightmare. I all of a sudden started to see drops of blood landing on her.....and I was like "WHAT IS GOING ON"...and in my panic,I looked at her face, and around her precious little mouth was the deepest reddest blood, and her tongue was doing strange things, and she just looked totally weird.....so I started to think she was internally bleeding or something. And/or somehow I cut her...but couldn't imagine how I did. Anyway, after I cleaned up the blood, and there seemed to be a lot of it, I realized what happened was she bit her tongue when I was cutting out the matt.......OH MY GOODNESS thank God that's all it was. I have never been so afraid.....anyway, had to share. That cute little "oversized" tongue is cute but when this happens, I wish she would keep her tongue in her mouth thanks for reading about my baby and my scare

thank you - that is a good idea. I know the slightest pulling seems to hurt her, even though I try so hard to be gentle....and this has never happened...

When you see blood on your baby it is terrifies you doesn't it! So glad that Jeanie is OK though. I use one of those letter openers to get rid of knots. That way I don't have to worry about cutting into that sensitive baby skin.
