| Cut a hole in the onezie for the tail. Snap the snaps like you would a baby. Very easy. You will have to unsnap for the baby to pee or pooh of course.

YT 2000 Club Member | I just went out last night and bought two onesies for Maggy May, as she'll be getting spayed July 8th and I to am trying to be completely prepared. I figured it would be best to get two of them, that way when one is being washed, I have another one to put on her. This isn't a close up of the snap part, but you can see her tail under her. All I did was snapped the two side snaps and left the middle one un snapped and put her tail through it. I had to get the premie size though, as she only weighs 4 pounds 9 ounces, the newborn ones would have been way to big for her.

Donating YT Addict | if you put it on upside down with the flap that goes between the skin babies leg coming up on your babies back near their tail . You snap one snap put the little tail in and snap the other. Here is a picture.. (I got Ozzy a newborn size and he weighed 3lbs 12oz)

| I found a couple of premie onsies on Ebay dirt cheap and bought them. I am preparing for Skeeter's neutrer. I have never had a problem with any of my dogs messing with their stitches though so I don't even know if I will use them. |

YT 2000 Club Member | Hehe, it DOES work out better if you put it with the snaps on the top of the butt instead of on the lower part of the butt. I just put her other one on her and it's a lot more comfy for her this way.

| Do you use the onesies so they don't have to wear that terrible looking cone around their head?? Mia gets spayed in a couple of weeks... I'm so nervous!! I better go get me a pack of onesies!

YT 2000 Club Member | Yes, that's why I got the onesies. A lot of ladies on here said their lil ones didn't do well at all with the E-collars at all. I have a boxer that was neutered years back and he had to wear the E-collar and he hated it, so with what I've read here and with my experience with my male boxer being neutered, I decided to get the onesies for Maggy May so she wouldn't be aggrivated by the E-collar.

| I'm not sure about all stores, but Walmart has the onesies in a 5 pack for about $9 or $10. I snapped just the snaps on either side and left the center one unsnapped like others described. When Madison needed to go outside to go potty, I just unsnapped it and kind of folded it up, or rolled it under on his back and front so it wouldn't get dirty. Works like a charm.

| Madison doesn't have external stitches, however I found that he really isn't licking the area at all, so I guess I didn't really need them. It was nice to have the first day anyway, just to make me feel more comfortable that he wasn't licking when I wasn't looking. And they look so sweet in them

And to the person who said to turn them around....YES! that way, it won't cover up their tail at all! That worked great, plus, that way you can see the cute picture that's on the front of it...great idea!
