| Whats Wrong? hyper to mopey HI, I have a 7 1/2 month old yorkie and he is always very hyper and jumping all over the place. But since 2 days ago he has been lazy and doesn't seem like his normal little self. He still eats normal. Is he just tired or could there be something wrong.

| No he isn't neutered yet. He just seems to want to lay on his bed and sleep though. It just seems strange.

| has anything changed in his world? Has he been around other dogs lately? Been to a dog park or on a walk where he might have picked up a little bug? A visit to the vet may be needed

| Teething and grow spurts will cause this too. Has he lost all his puppy teeth yet? Gracie eats like a horse for a few days then just kind of mopes around and then I'll notice she looks a little 'bigger'. Of course define 'bigger' when you only weight 2 lbs 13 oz. I probably wouldn't worry too much unless it goes on for many days and/or he stops eating, drinking, potty well.

| Well I brought him to thew vet today. He actually had an appointed to get his teeth removed so they checked him out and he had a temp and they did a check on his ears because I thought they smelled kinda funny. They told me they would wait and see if his temp went down before they did anything and would let me know. They said sometimes nerves can make them get a temperature. so 2 hours later they called and said it was back to normal and they also did blood work, heartworm test and an earslide. every thing was great except he has a double ear infection. bacteria and yeast so they gave me meds for that and he did very well in surgery and almost seems normal already just since we've gotten home. hopefully it will stay that way.
