| Animal Cops Houston.... SOOO SAD! I'm watching this show and it is very sad. This poor dog had his ears cut off!!! Another dog was starving to death! I cant stand it! How can people be so heartless? They must be mentally ill.

| As sad as this is, (I have not watched it yet) it is something that is done quite a bit to Greyhounds. If they have the ears cut off, then the tattoos are not traceable and then killed. No one will ever know.....

| I can't watch those shows!! Only if I want a good cry or something and then I just feel so helpless because you can't help every animal.

| dog It kills me..the horses are so sad, such gentle animals and so many suffer terribly. It is wonderful to see soem in new homes, so content and free of pain...does anyone know the out come of the starving, bony black setter type dog? I have to stop watching...I fantasize about what I would do if I ruled the world..and that is God's job..some may feel He is not doing His job, but He will..be patient. |

I truly believe that we have people in this world who don't have a conscience. All the people who are involved in crime, abuse etc. They view others a lot differently than we do.

I know this about the Houston animal cops - they only have a small force for a HUGE STATE... I think they do a great job. Back when I had to report a neighbor for letting their dog suffer terribly in the TX heat with raw skin almost to the bone I took pictures (& still have them on my computer) called Ernie of Houston Animal cops & spoke to them at length ...They told me to email the pictures which I did & they were out in less than 48 hours and saved the dog. They even sent a Thank you note to my house. | |

| It hurts me when I see stuff like that, so I try not to watch it very often. I think there was a dog around here that had been found and it had it's ears cut off too. They said a lot of times it's b/c they've been used, or are intending to use them in dog fighting~ the ears I guess, are just something to be torn off while they're fighting, so they cut them off before that can happen (how humane of them). I think it's pretty darned sad that I even would have that information.

Sometimes you need to look outside the box. I watch these shows to help with all my animals in case of an emergency. I live 30 miles from the nearest vet I have learned so much from these shows. Sometimes because I am already a little down, I also can't watch....but the information I can pick up is so valuable.

| That is a bitter sweet show for me but I do watch it. I love seeing the abused animals being made whole again and put out to pasture or playing with their new families. It just makes you want to scream and cry at the same time. Are you referring to the starving black puppy with Parvo that was on a couple of nights ago that officier Labarto took home to nurse? If so, puppy was cured and went to it's forever home. Was adopted the very same day the officer turned it over to the adoption clinic. Yayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy |

| Yes, the show is very sad, but usually the animals have a happy ending. I am so proud of the officers doing the job, it is something that I could not do, and goodness knows they probably are not appreicated the way they should be. Think of the horrible deaths these animals would suffer if not for the officers. I know they have to put some animals down after they rescue it, but at least it is humanely done and not just starving. I watch the show all the time and just admire the work they do. I can not believe what people will do and how negelected they let their animals get. These poor animals can not take care of themselves.

| It makes me very sad to see these shows but glad that at least some of them will have a better life. I cry when there is one that they cannot save. I just wish that the owners would be put in those same conditions as their punishment and then put into prison.
