| Yorkie's ears..... hmm.. does everyone keep their yorkie's ears up? or do some of you flop/bend their yorkie's ears down? Choco's ears are up... but sometimes I see pictures of bent ears on yorkies and they look really cute... Is it bad to do?? How would you do it??

Senior Yorkie Talker | To keep the ears floppy, you have to let the hair grow on them, because thats what weighs the ear down. Or the ears can go down due to teething.

| I like them both ways. My first yorkie was kind of a "hand-me-down" and his ears were down. If their ears aren't kept clipped during the time that they naturally start to stand up, the weight of the hair will keep their ears down. If you change your mind later, it'll probably be too late. Although it was really cute, he was prone to ear infections. Moisture would get inside his ears and not dry out naturally like when their ears are up. |

| Gracie's ears tried to droop for quite awhile, but I kept them trimmed and eventually they stayed up. It was really fun trying to trim a little wiggly pups ears. I have the opposite problem with my Aussie. Their ears are supposed to flop but her stand up straight. Go figure...

| Holly's ears have been up, down, up, down,up, down, and just when I thought they would both stay up, one went down! I give up. One up one down it will be. She looks adorable that way!
