| Thinning on top of her head. I got my new puppy Izzy on Mothers day May 12th she was 7 1/2 weeks old She will be 11 weeks old in a few days. She been doing really great but I noticed that the hair on the top of her head looks like its thinning.Tonight when i bathed her it looks like she was almost balled. It freaked me out because I do not remember it looking that bad before.I have given her proberly 6-7 baths since I got her.Reason is because she stepped in her poop a few times.can you all tell me if this is normal. |

Senior Yorkie Talker | Is she just changing colors on the top of the head? Because my breeder told me don't be scared when the hair turns to silver on the top it will look thin/make them look bald.

| That's probably is what's happening. Totally normal, and will turn to tan or gold. |

| Haha, does it look like these guys?? First pic is Ruthie the first time I met her — I think she was about 10 weeks. Her hair on her head was already changing color so I thought the same thing - it looked really thin! Second pic is Oscar when he was about 5 mths old after a bath. Looks like he's losing his hair on his head, but I assure you, he's got a nice head of hair

| When Faith went blonde(not just blonde it was white almost like an albino ) on her head she would look bald when she took a bath but once it dried her hair was there, now that it has darkened a little it is better but still looks thin when wet.

| I remember thinking the same thing about Zoeybear. I thought her hair was thinning, but it was just changing.

| Same here with Cassiopia. When she was 3-4 mths old...she started to change color on top of her head from black to blond/white. It also looked like she was balding. But now at a little over 5 months, almost all the black hair on top is gone (it's ony at the tips of the hair). |

Yea that kinda what she looks like wet on the top of her head. But her hair still looks black at the moment.I cannot tell if it changing yet.Maybe this is just in the beginning stage of changing. But I am worried if she is going bald. The rest of her body lots of hair. | |
