| This MawMaw needs your help.... Kodie is 6 1/2 months old and we have 2 grandchildren, Makenzy, who's 5 and Hunter, who's 15 months. When they come to visit, Kodie goes crazy, he's jumping on them, all over them. How can I get him to calm down. Does anyone else have this problem, please help.. |

| Maybe give him a bone or chewy when you see them pull up and that should keep him busy til they can get in and settled?!

| I wish I had some advice for you... we are dealing with kind of the same prob. I dont have grandkids let alone kids for that matter... but our nieces and nephews and just people in generale... Gracie gets sooooooooooooooooo excited to see them she jumps on them ... and FREAKS out!! lol its kind of funny to see... but its not a good thing... I hope someone on here will know what to do... is it when your grandkids first get there or does it matter?

| Maybe you could put him in a crate or expen while the little kids are there. They could play with him thru the fence. I wouldn't let the pup jump all over them like that. Maybe start the pup on obedience training as well. |

| I wish I could be of some help. I can understand the problem. Unless you can try putting a leash on him (Kodie, I mean) and experiment with them coming in and correcting him/pulling him back and saying "No" and see if he will stop. Then reward him if he doesn't jump on them.
