| Errr...ummm...just over 4mo. old and humping stuff already! But he's too little to do that kinda stuff... right? Chewie's about 4 1/2 mo. old and he has his favorite little stuffed animal that he "goes to town" with. Certain parts of him haven't even "dropped" yet. Is there a reason behind this behavior?

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | Joey used to do this with his stuffed animals, and it cracked me up. Don't ever allow them to do it to a human because it's really is a show of dominance that is related to the hormones. A few months after he was neutered Joey stopped it, and I've got to say, I really wished I'd filmed it. He had one red bear that was bigger than him, and he just loved Red.

| I tried to convince my hubby that he was doing it but he like...NAH! He's too little. Boy, did he get an eyeful when he got home this evening! His jaw dropped but at the same time just we couldn't stop laughing We both figured it would stop once he gets neutered but there's a couple more months until then.

| Mine did his first humping at three monthsm the very weekend I brought him home. My best friend was laying in the floor playing with him and he humped her head! They say it has less to do with their hormones and more to do with dominance. Interestingly, he has never humped anything esle but his special blankie. He doesn't hump arms, legs, etc. Only my best friends head and his blankie. (BTW: He is neutered, but that didn't stop him "lovin' : his blankie!

| My pups at 7wks. old were mounting. This isn't odd behavior for dogs to hump so young. You often hear even as soon as they learn how to play and interact with littermates, they start to hump them as well. Now at 3months my pup I kept hasn't shown any interest in humping, but at two months old the pup my friend kept made friends with ''Mr.Teddy'' Last edited by Candy317; 05-28-2008 at 08:33 PM. |
