| When does growing slow down.. I'm still concerned about my baby's size. He's 5 1/2 months and about 6 1/2 pounds. He doesn't look big, but he's solid as a rock. I know it's different for all, but at approximately what age can I expect him to stop putting on weight?

| My boys had a growth spurt at 15 months!! They had their rabies shots when they were 15 months and one was 4.6lbs and the other was 6.2lbs and now they are 5.5lbs and 9lbs easily! Don't know if thats common or normal, something tells me not so much, but yeah, they did get bigger WAY later than I ever expected!

| Adie hit 4lb at about 6months and stayed there up until she was about a year and a half. Sometime in there she gained another pound. She is 5lb 2oz now at 2 years old and has weighed the same for the past few months. |

| Layla was 5.5 lbs at 10 months, and then at some point had a giant growth spurt and is now 10 lbs at 2.5 years!

| I think the boys start to get their boyish barrel chests around 6 -9 months, they might not gain that much weight but their proportions change. Mine didn't grow much after 1 year.

| Thank you all for your input All posts are appreciated. Based on what all of you guys have said, I now know that I can expect his weight gain to slow down. Unless...of course...he blows up out of the norm. Thanks my friends.
