| Body found at our local dog park! Dog Walkers Discover Man's Body In Suburban Creek - Local News Story - WCAU | Philadelphia So this morning I get a text message from one of girls that is part of the "regulars'' group at the dog park asking if anyone was going. I text her back with my reply, then she replies "Did you hear about dead body the found here yesterday?". We are allways joking with each other, so I reply back "Are you F'n kidding?!". She then replies "No I'm F'n Not! Dead man in the creek". At this point I'm calling her to get the whole story since I wasn't around yesterday. One of the other girls in our group was there yesterday and said all of a sudden police suv's come zooming down into the parking lot, then the Coroner car came. After a while another one of the girls at the park went and asked what was going on. They then call another one from our group that lives up the street, and she had no idea what was going on so she shows walks down to the park with her husband and dog. Mind you this is VERY unusual for where I live. I then call my SIL to see if she saw the news, she said she did and didn't realize that was the park we allways go to. Then I asked my neighbor, they said they were there to check the mulch pile (free mulch in that parking lot), saw the police cars but didn't know what was going on until they got home. I swear I miss all the fun...

| That's scary! Hubby found a zapper for me to use when walking our dogs. Ya never know now-a-days... even in the best neighborhoods!

| Well, I don't know what 'fun' that would have been, but prayers to this poor man's family.

| Actually the park is 20 miles outside of Philadelphia, it's very "suburb". So far the news reported it wasn't "foul play".

| OMGosh, Amy, that is very scary. I hope it turns out that he died of natural causes. Don't walk by yourself in that park till they find out what happened.

| What a shame. I feel terrible for this man's family. I hope that he went quickly and painlessly. |

| There is a story going around that he might of stumbled from a party from a house at the other end of the woods, and somehow ended up in the creek. To get to the creek from the fenced dog area, you have to cross the parking lot (which isn't very big) and go down the hill. I've only been down there once, and that was last year. I usually go when I know our regular group is there.

| Update Montgomery Newspapers - Upper Dublin man's body found in creek They identified the man, and cause of death is he drowned somehow. The super icky part is they say his body was there for 5-6 days!
