| Can I use human shampoo to wash my baby?? Batista is looking too grimy today and i really need to give him a bath but cant wait to go to the pet store tommorrow. Is it bad for him to use a little bit of human shampoo? How about toothpaste?? |

| It might make him a little itchy but giving him one bath with human shampoo won't hurt him (just be careful not to get it in his eyes) I would say no to brushing his teeth with human toothpaste if that is what you mean. It will make him sick..it's never meant to be swallowed. And welcome to Yorkietalk

| My vet said not to use human shampoo. They tend to get itchy...

| We tried it and it worked out well, hes all fresh and clean, no itching yet, thanks for the advice though! |

| I've used Pantene on mine, with J&J Baby Shampoo for their face for over a year. They smell great, look great and haven't had any problems with itching. |
