| Yorkies on Vacation It's that time a year again and I was just curious.....Have you taken your Yorkie with you on vacation or plan to do so soon? I would love to hear about places your furbabies have traveled. Have you found some dog-friendly places? Thanks for sharing!

| This last weekend we took Jamie for a 3 day vacation in Nashville, TN and he had a BLAST! We stayed at the Sheraton Music City in Nashville which was gorgeous and everyone loved Jamie. The girls and I took Jamie with us shopping and dining (outdoor seating only) in his stroller. He was such a good boy everywhere we went and was even great in the car for the drive.

| Britney and Brooklyn go to Dewey Beach (and Rehoboth Beach), DE every summer. I'm lucky in that Britney and Brooklyn travel well so they travel a lot.. probably more than a lot of people.

| Layla goes everywhere with us. She has been all over the US and comes with us every year to Florida. It can be hard to find a pet friendly hotel in every city we are in so sometimes we just sneak her into a hotel that is not pet friendly. Layla is not a barker and sleeps in her crate and thus far it has not been a problem. We cover her crate when we put it on the trolly to bring it in and i carry her in her "purse" i make sure to bring toys that dont' squeak and she is good as gold! |

| Wow! Lots of vacation spots for our Yorkies...camping, Florida, Dewey Beach, and Nashville. Would anyone like to share vacation pictures? We took Piccolo to Isle of Palm last year, which is near Charleston, South Carolina. They have a very dog-friendly beach.

| Here are a few that I posted last summer. They have a great time but the sand, ocean air, and salt water destroys their coat! A bath or two and they are back to normal. http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/my-...lyn-beach.html

| Kyle - I loved the pictures of Britney and Brooklyn at the beach. Looks like they had a great time. Did they like swimming in the ocean? Chestermama - Thanks for the website information on traveling with pets. I'll go check it out now.

| Rigger goes everywhere with us. We generally stay at either Hilton Hotel properties, most are pet friendly, or LaQuinta Inns, one of their selling points is they are pet friendly. We went to St. Petersburg, Florida last summer. It is my hometown. We found a Bed and Breakfast, The Mansion House, which is absolutely beautiful!! They have one room that they let pets stay in, so be sure to ask for it. They had homemade treats waiting for Rigger and they treated him like a king!! We will go back when we visit there again.
