| What is the best way to pick up your yorkie? I just picked up my dog and he seemed a little uncomfortable and I pick him up a lot. I don't want to cause any future damage. What is the best way to pick them up from the floor? How I do it now is that i reach under his belly and pick him up. Is that ok?

| Maybe he feels like he is going to fall when you pick him up. When you hold him try putting one hand like under his bottom, supporting his back feet.

| When I pick Jamie up his chest rests in my palm with 3 fingers between his front legs and my thumb and pinky on the outside of his legs. That way the rest of his body kinda rests on my forearm.
