| But I thought they were my friends I guess I have to stay here with you guys where I am understood and not thought to be crazy. Yesterday I thought some of those pics were so precious with the tongues sticking out, and then some that Dina posted of Pia, that I sent some to my 4 "best" friends (non YT non yorkie owners) in emails. Three of the 4 wrote me back yesterday saying that I was OC about Yorkies, and over the top. They just don't understand........I guess I'll just hang around here where yall "get it."

| I know what you mean.........some people just do not understand In our bedroom we have a brown leather sledge bed. While looking about the internet for a bed for Tink I came across a brown leather sledge bed for dogs and cats, which………..I am sure you will understand…..I have just got to have for Tink! I told my mum, daughter and emailed son in NZ about it, was called ‘sad’ by my son and had ‘odd’ looks from mum and daughter….thank goodness my hubby ‘half’ understands! (he is getting there)

| All I can say is "they don't know what their missing", until I owned a Yorkie, I never felt this way, and boy, what a feeling. I think it is wonderful. A friend of mine, didn't realise I was quite so 'gaga' over my furrbuts, then one day when I thought Tinks had kidney failure and I was loosing her, the vet phoned me at work to say that she was going to be fine and I burst out crying (in happiness). On Easter Sunday we went to my friends house so the kids could have an egg hunt and she had made special biscuits for my furbutts (because she now knows they can't have chocolate), specially wrapped them and everything...... now that is a true friend.

Banning Thread Dictator Donating Member | Ha! I know what you mean. I was surprised when my family and friends didn't have the same reaction to Yorkie pictures and vids as YTers. So heck with them. Their loss!

| Isn't it nice to have friends who really understand you? Most of my family understands as they are big dog lovers but one sister in law doesn't get it at all. She has even asked "what are those dogs doing in your bed"? Well, duh I don't fit in theirs so where else should we sleep!

| I have learned never to bring up Crystal to non-dog people because you get this icey stare but you would think family and friends so I gave up there but then I started getting emails and mentioning in phone calls asking how is Crystal It's funny in this retirement building I live in we are down to two dogs. I have been here since 2001 and of the 40 people, I bet eight know her name. I like most of the ones that don't know her name since they mean no harm but to me it's strange. Our mgr. said there will be a first this year and a dog will be listed on the calendar for June.....Crystal's 14th Bday!! It was by request so alot must like her. The people on my floor spoil her and say she is the best behaved dog they have ever seen, so I am proud of that and I agree with them
