| update on Suzi, and some questions.... Suzi has adjusted quite well to her new family and home. SHe now has taken to following me everwhere, and whines when she does not know where I am .Suzi loves going outside and running around on the grass. At first she did not know what to do on the grass. I think it was her time ! Now she loves it! I am a little concerned though, because I got her only at about 9 weeks. What I have heard is that a Yorkie should not go until 12 weeks old. However, she is fully weaned, eats well, has plenty of energy, sleeps well, and playful. AM i headed for trouble with her? Just because she came to me younger then 12 weeks? Anyone have good ideas on potty training? Suzi is going to her first checkup Tomorrow. SHe has had shots though and been dewormed . I guess i just want to do right for her. Any tips wolud be great . Thanks, Cathy |

Donating YT 10K Club Member | Suzi will be fine. I have gotten yorkies at the following ages... 8 weeks, 10 weeks, 12 weeks, and 15 weeks. Honestly I saw no differences in them. All were healthy and very well adjusted. 6 weeks is very very young. I personally wouldn't take a pup away from his mommy at that young age. Watch him like a hawk...soley because of his age and it he's really small...make sure he eats frequently.
