I'm so sorry this has happened, poor babies.

Has anything changed in her life that could possibly be the cause of this behaviour? Have you had a vet check for her? Could be she has a medical issue that is making her feel bad and this aggression is the result?

I am SO SORRY this is happening to you. I know this sounds crazy but if humans can suffer mulitple personalites (which I believe HAPPENS) I wonder if a dog can?? Or a severe bi-polar condition? Wish I could help you.....please keep us updated.

I have heard of this before and it was heart breaking for the family. They had the dog PTS. You are in my prayers.

I would think that an animal that has killed three others would have to be put down. The animal shelter won't even rehome a dog that bites(let alone kills repeatedly). That would be my advice.

I am so sorry for you loss....
I have heard of this happening and the dog in question was placed in a home without any other pets and has been very happy for a few years now.
Perhaps this is an option for you to consider?

Is your girl unaltered? She needs to be spayed and put into a single pet home. I would not put her to sleep as this is not uncommon if she is a breeding female.

things like this happen more often than we can even imagine. In all breeds. Same way with mamas eating their young. I rarely have a dog fight to break up unless my males get into it a little when someone is in heat. Then I put my little guy in one crate and the larger one in another crate. Right now I am having a problem with a pregnant bitch. I am trying to introduce the baby puppies now nine weeks old to the "big dog" room and the other day she attacked one of the babies right in front of me. I scolded her and now when the puppies are in the room with her, she sits right at my feet. That dog you are talking about has to be rehomed and not only to a home with no other dogs but also to a home with no small children. Good luck

MyYorkies8, I know there are many options going through your head right now and the reason I mentioned the yorkie I know of that was put to sleep was so that you would know that if that was your decision, you should feel no guilt. If you decide to find a home that you think would be right for her then I would be with you all the way there too. It's a hard decision and you will be in my thoughts and prayers. Joan

If she decides on this option, I so agree

I also believe that this would be the best option for the sake of other dogs but also for the aggressive female. She might do very well rehomed in the right home and live a very happy and well adjusted life.
