| daddy's bday hey all, today is my boyfriend's bday (abby's daddy). i was planning on having ice cream cake for him but was wondering if Abby can have some. i no they cant eat chocolate so i wont even try givin her that part or the crunchies (carvel cake). so my question is if she can have some vanilla??? please say yes lol |

Donating YT 3000 Club Member | yeah, she can have some vanilla. How old is she and what's her weight? If she has never had any ice-cream, I would give her more than a tablespoon, just to make sure she'll digest it ok. My Bengi eats a little bit of ice cream every other day... he loves it!!!! |

| I agree, don't give her too much if she's never had it. I suggest that you scoop up a fingertip worth of vanilla, let her lick it, wait, then gradually increase the serving size. |

| I wouldn't. Dogs are lactose intolerant. Ice cream (and other dairy products) can cause an upset stomach, diarrhea, etc. They sell dog "ice cream" alternatives
