Yorkie Yakker | Taking our friends along Hi all, Need some ideas and advice. Would love to take Buddy Reagan with us more often but how and where? We live in Mi. and there are not many pet friendly places. Say for instance we want to take him shopping at a mall or when were on vaca. we would have him with us. What do you do ? I know we can walk him or carry him with us outside but what about a restaurant stop ect? Thanks in advance for your answers and suggestions! Buddys Owner |

| Well, a purse type carrier does a lot to disguise what you're carrying. There are several threads on YT about where have you taken or sneaked your yorkie into. Mine have been to Target and places like that. People are so busy doing there own thing, they don't really pay attn. Most restaurants that have outside patios have no trouble with you bringing your dogs.

| We travel a lot with our dogs. Lots of hotels, even very nice ones, allow pets in the rooms and have special areas for them to go outside, etc. It is still "iffy" whether you can take them to places that food is being served unless there is an outside location to sit. On the road, we just go in and get our food to go, and then go outside and have a tailgate picnic with the dogs. We stop at roadside rest stops along the highway to give them a chance to get out. And we always take them to stores that don't serve food, Macy's Target, Home Depot. Some "Malls" do have restrictions, but as long as you are discrete even these places are accessible. I'll never forget being in Bloomingdale's and seeing a pink poodle at the cosmetic counter. LOL Have fun.
