| I'm SO MEAN!! (A rant) Ok guys, I was totally mean today and not very much a lady but I was just so fed up! Ok, so I always look in the local classifieds for yorkies because I like to see what's out there in my area- usually its not much. However, today, I found probably 40 ads for yorkies and AT LEAST 95% of them were CLEARLY scams. Free yorkie, 1.5lbs, tons of spelling errors, shipping fee only, etc., etc. I inquired on two "legit" ads, just to see, and guess what you wouldn't believe the coincidence but both of them are in Cameroon. <roll eyes> Now this is what made me so mad- those scammers are getting smarter! I mean, I am not stupid, but based on the ads I inquired on, I honestly thought they were legitimate. I e-mailed back both of them and told them to quit SCAMMING people and get an F-n job. I mean come on. If people would put that much effort into work, they wouldn't have to scam on poor people who just want a precious pup to love. I'm done- just had to vent....

| I soooo understand!!! It's amazing what people will do and so very sad too! We breed on a small scale and you can really tell that people are scared to buy a puppy because of all of these scams. I have spoken to countless people that have been scammed and afraid it will happen again. I just don't see why people do things like this!

| They do it because they can. There's no 'law enforcement' anymore. They always come after the fact. Know this - You are no longer being protected. It's going to get a whole lot worse before it gets better. BUYER BEWARE! |

Yorkie Yakker | I know what your talking about. I bet I replied to 10 ads from our newspaper or from local internet and they were from Cameroon or it was some ministry on a mission in Africa and that is where the dog was located. |

| I just don't want anyone else to get scammed. I feel so bad for good people who may fall for something like this and get their heart-broken in the end. I also told them I was going to turn them in, although we all know there is no where to take it to...

YT 2000 Club Member | Funny, cause I had been helping my brother look for an English bulldog pup for a while, I came across all the scam adds for them as well. When I "thought" I found a few legit ones in Ohio, I mailed about them and then by their reply, found out it was a scam. Funny thing is, those pups were also in Cameroon. They went on and on about what all the pup would be shipped with and blah, blah, blah, I simply wrote back and told them never mind, we weren't interested in purchasing a pup we couldn't see with our own eyes and at least see the parents. Never heard a word back, gee, I guess they don't like it when people catch onto them. However, two weeks before that, my hubbys nephew got scammed by one of them, he wired money (a few hundred dollars) for a pup and never did receive the pup. Bet he'll never do that again!

| haha when i was looking for a puppy.. i actually figured that those were scams and i started to mess with them.. and just ask them a million questions and just have conversations with them!! haha. and act like i was really interested.. and then i'd stop talking to them.. i feel like they deserve that.. i wanted to yell at them but i jus did the opposite and made them think i was interested.. get their hopes up for that extra 500 dollars or whatever.. i don't know if it worked but eh... i had fun =D |

| I know, when I was looking for Zoe, I was approached by a few scammers and I kinda led them on a bit. It is so agravating. I even e-mailed one of them and told them they should be ashamed of themselves etc but I'm not sure it does much good but it makes me so angry too! |
