| I accidently kicked my puppy Well more like it ran into my leg while it was running. It was so sad. I feel so bad. How do you comfort puppies after a thing like that? It peed all over the floor right after. |

| If she were a little older I would think she would have interperted it as play but being that she peed on the floor she is obviously "very" frightened. There are times you can't help an accident but try to keep in mind that these little ones do "GET UNDER OUR FEET" all the time....so just try to be mindful. I would just cuddle her for a while and give her a few kisses. You might also want to poke around gently to be sure she is not aching anywhere. When one of my dogs was only around a year old I was carrying him outside and he wiggled out of my arms and fell he first on a piece of cement....I was freeking out but he was fine. Don't ask me how but today 8 years later he is still the Don Juan of the neighborhood. Good luck with your little one. Tina

| It does happen sometimes. At our house we don't wear street shoes, usually just barefoot or house slippers. That way you can feel them when they're underfoot. We also do the 'Yorkie Shuffle" . |

| I sypathize I too have done this in the past. Now i just have her out when i can keep myself stationary. If i have to move around while mine is still young i will put her in an area i think she will be safe.

| When I got Basil, I learned very quickly to walk without lifting my feet. That still wasn't always enough. If you haven't done it already, get your pup a cat collar with a bell. Although I would never use a leash with a collar on him (always use a harness), it still gives me fair warning when he's in the area! I hear that little bell in my sleep!
