| Sasha's Home :) Hey everyone! We just brought Miss Sasha home! She's a pretty older lady! She & Xavier aren't so fond of each other just yet, but I think they'll get along before too long. She seems to LOVE my husband...she hasn't stopped following him around since we've been home. I don't think she knows what to think of me yet; she actually just snapped at me when I tried fix her collar. We think she may have been abused because she shakes horribly when patted... Her former mommy cried when we took her but was glad because she knew Sasha was going to a good home. I'll be needing advice on what to switch her food to, because she's on JUNK off-brand canned food. Her teeth aren't in very good shape, but do you guys think raw would be okay for her? Thanks for all of you guys encouragement & help. Sasha's in her forever home now!

| Congrats!! I can't wait to see pictures of her.. My girls don't eat raw.. although they do get raw chicken and beef ever so often.. I have found Eagle Pack Hollistic (chicken) to be great.. they girls love it.. I had Kayah on Nutro before I got Evie.. and she didn't seem to take to it very well. Missy told me she feeds all her babies the EP so I figured I'd try it.. right away Kayah loved it.. I'm sure you will gets lots of great food advice, though

| Congratulations!! I'm sure it will take some time for Sasha to get used to everyone in her new surroundings. It took my boys a few days to really start getting used to each other, and now they are inseparable! I don't feed raw, but I do homecooking for my guys. They are great eaters and very healthy! I'm sure if you posted a question about feeding raw in the Health and Diet section, you will get lots of good info and opinions. I can't wait to see pics!

| I am glad she has found a good home with you. I hope she and Xavier are able to work out their differences. I think raw would be wonderful for her!

| Meet Sasha!!!! Sorry these aren't very good quality! They are off my phone. She & X have been getting along a little better today thankfully . I mixed in some raw with her Cesar's and she loved it! So raw it is I suppose. Here are the pics! Please pardon her silly coat...her former mommy had been doing her hair herself and it doesn't seem to have turned out so well. We'll be trying to do SOMETHING with it before long. Any suggestions?

I will give you the advice everyone gave us this past week, stay calm, do not panic and understand there will be a learning curve for all! We have to keep our new girl separated in the house due to some infections right now, but we are letting them run together in the yard. I think they all feel less threatened checking each other out in the yard. So you might try that if you have a fenced yard they can play in. Our girl shakes too when we pick her up, but she has started calming down! Best of luck!
