| Does anyone elses baby do this? I have a new baby that we've had for almost 2 weeks, she is 5 months old and doing really well with the whole potty training thing.But... when we let her out of the room where she sleeps in the morning, she pees all over the floor because she is just so excited to see us. Does anyone have any ideas? |

| When I have to leave Gus home for a long period of time he does tinkle out of excitement when I return.

| Try picking her up and taking her immediately outside. She may not be able to hold it long enough to walk to the door. |

| It's me againI have tried picking her up right away but she piddles all over me instead of the floor, I think I like the pee-pee better on the floor

| My little "Chloe" is 22months old and still does this, even though she is completely potty trained. It is "over submissive peeing". What I first come home and she is all excited running around like crazy.....I just completely ignore her for about 5minutes, after that she is fine. I have been told that she will eventually grow out of it.....will see. bruisersmom |

| At 5 months I was still taking Loki out in the middle of the night. How long is she sleeping at a time? |

| Hehe, my solution would be to let her sleep in the same room with you. I could never have let Rika sleep by herself and if I tried to make her now, she'd die. I'm just kidding, of course. Everyone has different rules for different houses. If I were you, I'd put piddle pads in front of the door so when she comes out and pees on the floor at least it's soaked up. Oh, and another thing. Never, ever scold a dog for submissive peeing. (Not saying you are, just a heads up.) They don't know they're doing it and it'll only make them scared of you and make them pee more. Most dogs will grow out of it, but there are some that don't. She's still young so give it time.

| My furbaby, Cookie is 15 months old and she still peepees when she gets over-excited. It used to be when anyone came over to visit but now its only when my boyfriend, "her daddy" comes over. So now either I have something to wipe it up or I let her go outside to greet him. I have also been told they "grow out of it" but I am still waiting. We tried the "just ignore her" tactic but he just feels awful not paying attention to her when she's jumping all over his legs. I've also tried a stern "no peepee" but she just gets scared so I don't want her to associate a negative outcome when we have visitors so I've stopped scolding her and just clean up after her...LOL! |

| My Katie ALWAYS "piddles" when she gets excited. She piddles - when I come home from work, she does a tiny tiny little piddle - when Jim comes home from work and does his "dance" with Katie, she goes CRAZY and piddles while she's dancing - it's the cutest thing! - when my parents (especially my mom) come over It's just so cute - I love it!
