| Someone please help! I posted in the emergency section, but no one has responded and I don't know what to do. Tucker has been vomitting all night. He's vomitted a couple times every 3-4 hours since maybe 9-10:00 last night. It's sort of yellow and thick liquid. I don't know if he's eaten something that could have upset him. We had been at my parents house so he may have gotten some food he's not normally used to. I'm just so worried about him. He's drinking water, has no diarrhea, and has a normal energy level. But he has vomitted several times and I'm so worried about him! Any help would be much appreciated! |

| I'm not exactly what to do but be sure that he is able to keep some food down or he can get hypoglycemic. Give alittle bit of Kayro syrup mixed in his water. Also try a little bland food such as boiled chicken and see if he can keep that down. If not, I would take him to the vet if this doesn't improve. I tried to do a search here at YT to see what others have done but I need to leave for work and am running late. Good luck and keep us posted.

| I would do exactly what's already been recommended. If he's still having issues in the morning or this worsens or more symptoms appear, I would contact an emergency vet. Poor baby!

| Be sure first it's not Kennel Cough as Karo Syrup might cause more damage than good. |

No Longer a Member | I would try a little Pepto..couldn't hurt. Might settle his tummy. I don't know the weight of your baby, but the vet said I could give Gizmo (11lbs) a half teaspoon. I hope he feels better soon. |

My furkids Donating Member | my girls will sometimes do this if they have empty bellies. I will usually give them a little bit of nutra cal and then give them their breakfast. This usually will do the trick. They have never done this all day though...Maybe he has a little upset belly

| my mom had a Shih Tzu that used to do that once in a while. We never knew why she did it but she wasn't majorly ill, it was just an upset tummy. If she is acting okay otherwise I wouldn't freak out, just keep an eye on her. If it persists I would take her to the vet just to be safe. |

| I just spoke with Tucker's vet and he had me take away his food and water to let his stomach rest. He said I could let him lick on an ice cube this afternoon and see how he did with that and if he acted hungry I could give him just a little food, but not much. When's he's not vomiting I wouldn't even know he was sick...he's running around playing like normal, but then all of the sudden he starts vomiting. Anyway, the vet seemed to think that he might have gotten into some food that didn't sit well with him and since he wasn't lethargic or anything that he should be fine. I'm so glad! I've been so worried. I stayed home from church so I could watch him and make sure he was ok. Thanks to those that responded and I'll keep you posted on how he does this evening. |
