| Treadmill yorkies Oh no! My 6 lb Bitsy weighed in a 8 1/2 lbs at her last Dr. appt!! She loves to eat and I guess we'd been feeding her too much. Also, her brother Chico is super hyper, so I thought maybe the treadmill would help them both. It took a few trys before they would actually do it and I'm very careful with them - so far they only walk around 7 minutes at a time and no faster that 1.8 mph. Today Chico jumped on while Bitsy was on it and walked along side her! Pix are of Chico & Bitsy and of Bitsy alone. |

Living My Yorkie Dream Donating Member | Hey, I just might have to try that. My Lucky has the same problem...5-6 lb yorkie weighing in at 8 lbs. Needs to drop at least 2 lbs. On days we don't get out for walks, the tread mill would be a good option.

| Mika was a "treadmill" yorkie this morning, she watched me do my 45 minutes from the couch And quite bored with the whole process might I add.

| my girls love treadmill because they get a little treat after treadmill time. Now that the weather is getting better we take them out for walks outside but if the weather is bad the do 45min on the treadmill in the morning and again at night at 2.1mph!
