Update: Met the breeder I thought I'd share with you all what happened last night. Our breeder came over and brought Mikka, a full grown female (Apparently, she is what Roxy will look like) and Cuddles, the puppy I almost chose instead of Roxy. We had a blast. Roxy played so hard with the other two, and you could tell she really enjoyed having them around. I wish I would have taken pictures. The breeder, a lady named Renotta Oliver, was very nice and was so glad to get to check up on one of her babies. She's moving soon (I think to FL), so we had very little time to have a playdate. After she left, Roxy was really pooped and chilled out, so I got out her new carrier and took her with me to Kroger (grocery store) for a quick errand. She was so good! And no one said anything to us. I think it helped that my carrier doesn't look very much like a pet carrier, but we did keep the front flap open, which has a metal grate, so maybe they did see her and just didn't say anything. I was so proud of her... Just sharing it with you guys is making me smile.

Awww...what a nice story. I think its awesome when a breeder still cares enough about one of her puppies to do that and also that you let her. My girls breeder and I are always sending e-mails and pictures to each other and she had given me some great advice whenever I've needed it. Its always nice to hear positive breeder stories like that.

Yeah, I can safely say she's set on getting one. (Pssst- don't tell my Dad! lol) I asked her straight out last night: "Mom, are you getting a puppy?" She said "I want to, but the litter isn't born yet." !!!So she already has the litter picked out for the pup she wants. Same breeder as Roxy, which makes me feel really good.
