| Hi and Welcome to YT! Would love to see pics of your baby! I'm sorry I won't be much help. I'm not using the crate method. Maybe someone with more experience will come along and have some information for you. I just basically wanted to welcome you and Samurai to YT!

| Hi and welcome. When I had Hot Rod in his crate, he would cry too. I read that putting clock that ticks closeby sounds like a mothers heartbeat. I would a radio on during the day when I went out. Do you have a cover for his crate? Maybe that might help some. Just be patient, he will learn to sleep a little longer thru the night. Good luck.

Donating YT 30K Club Member | Welcome!!! I used a playpen with a bed at one end and a potty pad at the other end and Cali learned to use that. I also got her at 9 weeks and she would wake up arounf 2-3 am and I would let her out for a few minutes and put her back in. SHe adjusted pretty quickly to the playpen as she got older. I also had the playpen next to my bed so she could see me. It will get much easier as he gets a little older.

| Welcome to YT!!! Please post pictures!! I'm sure someone has already answered your question.. but if not.. Feel free to ask again! Although I never trained the girls in a crate... I did try the playpen with Evie (my puppy).. All I can say is: patience patience patience! Whether they cry or not.. don't give in.. remember.. it's NOT hurting them! Let him out.. just to go pee... and put him back in... if he cries.. do the same.. if he doesn't pee... put him back.. that's it! Remember.. it's harder for you than it is for him. If you have any questions.. please feel free to either PM myself.. or just ask us Again, WELCOME!

| Just wanted to say welcome! My sister was in Misawa. Her husband was stationed there. She loved it! My young neices, however, were terribly frightened by the earthquakes. How do you like it there? And where are you from originally? |
