| Tommorrow is the DAY :( Well....I was wondering if I should bring Maximus' hard carrier for him to stay in when he goes to the vet tommorrow for his neutering or do they have a place for him? I think he would feel better in his space, but noone is there to answer my question and idiot that I am I just assumed he could stay in his or do I only bring it when I pick him up? Also is there anything I should have handy for when he gets home, or any additonal advice? I know I will be hysterical tommorrow and I am already crying....he is like what is wrong with you MOM!!!

| Awww I bet you are nervous, I was a wreck! I don't know about your vet but when I took Simon they had a kennel for him but I brought his blanket and his favorite toy. You might want to rub the blanket on you so it has your scent. He will be ok! Keep us posted! |

| I am sure he will do just fine. They usually have a place to keep them when they are there.

| I know you are nervous...I was a wreck too when Lexie was spayed. My vet wanted her to be kept in thier kennel for sanitary reasons. I did leave a blanket and toy for her. Also, when she came home I had a new bed and toys for her. She even had doggy ice cream as a treat, which she loved! Good luck.

| I know you are nervous, but I truly believe that this is a routine procedure and that things will be ok. Maximus will come out of surgery with everything being completely normal and A-OK! Do you get to bring him home that day?

| Awwww, you poor thing. I feel bad for you being so upset. Can't wait till you have him back in your arms tomorrow, sitting on your own couch, and making Maximum feel all better. Please keep us posted. |

| It is hard. I feel for you. I promise I will think of you tomorrow and put a few words in to Saint Francis the patron saint of animals. You are being a responsable mommy, just remember that. |

| I feel the SAME way about Gizmo getting his retained puppy tooth pulled on Tuesday!! I keep wanting to cancel, but my husband talks me out of it. I have been giving his soooo much attention. He is to be dropped off in the morning (with his binkie) and I can pick him up right after work that day. I keep worrying that something will happen to my little man...but I will be leaving my work # and ask them to call me the MINUTE he wakes up!

| They will let you bring his bed if it is small enough to fit in their kennel as well as a t-shirt that has your scent on it. They just warned me that if it got soiled it would go in their laundry which I was fine with. They just use towels. If you don't want him to have to use the cone collar, make sure you bring a onesie and or a baby diaper for him when you pick him up. Make sure they do the pre-surgery blood work and that they have two people doing the surgery so someone is always monitoring his vitals and the anesthesia. You sound prepared and he will be fine, don't worry. It's a lot harder on you than it is on him! |

| SO....I dropped Maximus off today and it was worse then I planned ....we didn't get much sleep last night and he was licking my face all night....I guess he knew I was nervous..and then we got ready and left at 6:45am just to get there for 8:30...I let him sleep on my lap the way there and then when we got there he was playing with the girl maltese ready to be spayed!!! We went into the room and they took his temp..at which point he was screaming and trying to get out of there arems (he never does this)..they finished and he hoped into my arms....he REFUSED to let them take him and I have the scratches down my chest from his clawing at me and screaming...IT WAS HORRIBLE...I cried the whole way to work and I am sooo SAD , I have to call at 1:30 to see if everything is okay and then we can pick him up at 4pm
