| And she wonders why I call her stinky? My little Holly, in commemoration of her 7 month Birthday, decided it would be great fun to jump up onto the coffee table. She does not get there from the sofa, no. She jumps up onto it, and proceeds to pull anything and everything off of it. She got a hold of the paperwork for my cable service, it is now in shreds. So how do I keep her off the coffee table besides just correcting her when I catch her doing it?

| Haha my sister's yorkie, Noodle, whenever he feels left out like no one is paying attention to him, he jumps up on the coffee table to be closer to the action and is like "HEY, remember me?" It's cute but it gets him in trouble.

| Pretty funny little girl. Looks like you will have to move things to higher ground. Maybe when she doesn't find so many interesting things up there she will lose interest. Good luck.

| I don't think she will ever lose interest. She has 'climbed the mountain' and now it is hers. |

| I actually have a funny story about this. When my little twin sisters' 2-year-old Yorkie, Cujo, was just a puppy he decided he would start getting on the coffee table. He would just lay up there and play with the potpourri. So my mom read that you can spray them with water when they do something they aren't supposed to be doing. So she gets a water bottle out and starts spraying him when he gets up there. Well he loves water, so he thought she was playing with him. He was like dancing around just playing in the water! It was just so funny! Sorry I don't have any solution for keeping your baby off the table, but I just had to share this funny story. Hopefully someone can give you some good advice.

| Banjo loves to steal off the coffee table! Reading glasses - the remote Anything he can get !! And the water squirts do not work for him either- he tries to catch it with his mouth- and get a little drink!! Stealing makes a boy thirsty!

| Hmmm.... shredded cable paperwork sounds like shredded business receipts, toilet paper, and magazines in my world!!! Glory, my one female is already clicker trained so she doesn't do bad things like that, but Callie, my 1 year old, is just a terrible little sucker. Anything she can steal from you she will and tear it up like she was supposed to. We are clicker training her right now, and hopefully that will stop soon!! As for jumping on the coffee table, I would tell her firmly NO, pat her butt and put back down on the floor. I'd say after you do it a few times, she'll get the hang of not being allowed up there. Good luck!!!

| Well, my story's a little different. Mine like the coffee table so much, we just rearranged the living room and put the coffee table in front of the windows. I put soft pillows on it and now it's their lookout for when mom & dad come home. They concoured the coffee table!
