| Yorkshire Terrier Books Hey Guys- Can anyone point me in the right direction to a really good handbook on Yorkies? I saw reference to The New Complete Yorkshire Terrier by: Joan Gordon. Juat wanted to see if anyone else is familiar w/this book or if there are any others that are really good. Thanks.

| My preference Hi! I have bought about 4 different book and the most instructive one I found was A New Owner's Guide to Yorkshire Terriers by Janet Jackson. I hopes this helps I got it at petsmart. Good luck on your search. LOL(lots of love) |

| I think Joan Gordons book is the best I have and I have a few. Another good one if you like lots of pics and older pedigrees is the Book of the Yorkshire Terrier by Joan Mcdonald Brearley. Have fun shopping. |

| Yorkie Books You need to buy the Complete Yorkshire Terrier by Joan and Janet. This book is 30 years old but will fill in all the gaps that you need to know about the arly bloodlines. This book is still used as my favorite cookbook for the yorkies. I think that every person should be required to read this book before they own, breed or show a yorkshire terrier. |

http://www.shardabaker.com/yorkshire/terrier.b.htm This is the one I really like. I have referred to it often. She has a link right here on Yorkie Talk. It's at the top right under the main heading. The link at the top is called Yorkshire Terrier Warning. I have followed several of her methods. It's an electronic download book, but I also printed it for quick referral.

| An excellent book, but you will have to search for it (Amazon or Ebay) is called Yorkies Head to Tail: The Essential Care Guide by Sandra Lemire. Not alot of prety pictures.. but deffinetly the best information on Yorkies I think you can find..try and get it.. you will be glad you did!
