| Nicholas Duke of York I have now had Nicholas Duke of York, aka Nickie, my little 3.5 year old rescue boy, for 3 months. He is the most loving and happy little fellow. He loves to play with the Little Ladies and the toys. He is starting to "chat" with me and let me know what he wants. He is full of fun and loves attention. He still shivers like a leaf in a windstorm when approached by a stranger and tries to crawl inside my jacket. Adopting this little fellow is one of the most rewarding things I have ever done. His challenges are tremendous as he is badly maimed and his growth has been stunted to about the size he would have been at 6 months due to prolonged starvation. Nickie is my little velcro boy. What a little love bug he has become. So different from the terrified sack of bones that he was when he joined our little family. Have a Wonderful Day and God Bless

| What a touching story! Thanks for sharing it with us and keeping us updated. Do you have any current photos? Give that boy a hug. (and give yourself a pat on the back - good job!)

| Oh bless your heart!!! That is one lucky little guy to have been rescued by a Mommy like you. He can only thrive under such tender care. It just makes me smile to read a story like this. Huge hugs, Lauren
