| Missing You supplement I was wondering if anyone knew anything about this product? I give it to Mandy for storms. Its for anxiety but works great for her when it thunders etc. I was giving her one which was for a 21 to 40lb. dog when Kayla grabbed it. She is 7lbs. I called the co. they did not know if it would hurt her. It is just herbs but I am worried. My vet first wanted to make her throw-up but she had eaten a piece of bread and she was afraid she might get choked. We called animal poison center. They wanted 60.00 to give me info. We decided to wait and see if she began to have any side effects from it. She has just seemed normal. It makes Mandy completely relaxed. Kayla is her own go gett'em self. Running 90mi. an hr. through the house. I can't believe she would not have some reaction. She goes to the vet tomorrow and she told me to watch if she went to sleep and we could not get her up. It has been about 5hrs. now. Does it sound like the danger part may be over. Gosh, what a scary thing. I just knew my baby was going to be so sick. I think it only give her energy. |

I didn't know the animal poison center charged anything. What was the product you gave her? It should say the ingredients on the package. Some herbs can be dangerous, and just because the FDA hasn't restricted them doesn't mean that they are safe. Is it called Missing you?

| Yes, we and my vet called the poison control center. This is a good product from a reputable company. I was wondering if anyone had used it for seperation anxiety. It works great for Mandy to relax her when she is so afraid of storms. I am very careful what I give my dogs, but Kayla, the little wart is so fast and Mandy layed it down and Kayla got it. We watched her through the nite and everything is fine, thank God. Did not effect her in anyway. Yes, I also was suprised the animal poison control charged. My vet thought it was 35.00. I could not believe they wanted 60.00. It may be different in different areas. This was a long distance call from Texas so I have no idea where they were located. If I was going to pay that I would have took her into Emergancy clinic. From now on little noisy is going to be put in her kennel or play pen when I give the others any meds or vitamins. |
