| ? about ponytails, bows, topknots When you put your babies hair in a clip, ponytail, bow, topknot, or ect. do you let them sleep all night in it or do you take them out at night? I take Lexi's hair down everynight and brush her before bed, then in the morning I brush her teeth and put it back up. Is this crazy or to much? I just figured I can not sleep with anything in my hair so why should she have to, and as much as she rolls around in her sleep I thought it might break/damage her hair. So what do you do?

| I dont have Gucci's hair on a topknot everyday, but the days I do I do remove them at nite. I let her sleep one nite with it and in the morning it was all matted. I guess she was trying to take it off. I do brush her hair daily. |

| we leave linus's topknot in for about three days. it gets matted a little but it brushes right out. my suggestion is to use toenail clippers to cut the rubberband when you take it out. Bryan

| As long as I take it out everynight it slides right out, and has never matted or pulled the hair out. She will leave it in til I take it out. I do leave her hair down 2 days a week, but the other 5 days it's up will this damage her hair?

| I know what it feels like to sleep with a ponytail so I always take it off. I don't want my girls to endure something that I myself will not.

| I leave Gus's top-knot on over night. I brush him out in the morning and take it take it off and sometimes leave it down. But when I do his hair gets all crusty. I have to sleep with my hair up because I hate it when it's all over my face. I toss and turn too much and it just gets in the way. I figure it's te same for him. It's cute to see him with messy hair but I wonder if it bugs him when it gets wet and is all in his face.

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | I USED to take out them out everynight - but they're so used to wearing them I'll admit to not doing it like I used to - I do make sure they aren't tight day or night - but I try to take them out.....I use a loose scrunchie to keep their hair out of their eyes.... |
