| looking for a carrier for teapot Help!! I'm looking for a purse style carrier for my offical teapot. I took her to a friends tho other night to weigh her and she barely fit in her carrier, I only used it once!! We got her weighed and she weighs in at 8 lbs and 5 oz at 22 wks. I know she is gonna keep growing what kind of carrier do ya'll have?? If I don't watch out I'm gonna have to use a little red wagon for her . The lady that got her brother brought her to my hubby's work the other day and he is so tiny compared to Pepper, maybe he is the runt, or she just got the big girl gene from great, great, great, great grand-ma!

| Wow! She is a big 'un! Sounds like my Betty. I wish I could answer your question. It has to be strong, that's for sure!

| yea she is one that loves to stay outside and play with the brothers. And she plays hard, they jump on top of their dog houses to get away from her. no prob with hypoglycemia here, or shivering, in fact when I hold her I can feel her sweat, I swear.

| I'm getting this rolling carrier to take Tink on the plane when I fly. She outgrew her purse carrier at 20 lbs. http://www.healthyluggage.com/medpetonwhee1.html I've seen them for around $80 on sale. Check them at eBags also. |

| There are a ton of bigger carriers. I had a hard time finding one at first too (Loki ended up at 12 pounds... and he still FITS in his carrier but he's too heavy to carry for long.) Sammy is 6 lbs and she has plenty of extra room in my Vera Bradley carrier. I put Loki in it once but it was a tight fit. We have a New York Dog one that is like 16" long that Loki still fits into if necessary. A lot of the carriers come in more than one size too!

| Oh, that IS adorable! Vera Bradley sold cards and cute adorable things with THE most precious mice, birds, lady bugs, and other stuff. I bought a gift bag once, but kept it because I can't part with it! |

| GiGi Olivia has a nice selection of reasonably priced carriers in larger sizes. You may find, though, that your "teapot" may be too heavy to carry comfortably for any length of time. Have you thought about a stroller? |

| Now that I have two teapots (approx. 15 lbs. each) I don't even bother with a carrier anymore. If we go out to a pet event I use a versacart http://www.organize-it-online.com/it...?cmpid=Froogle I found that the carriers out on the market are just too small. For example the carrier would say "length of carrier 14", well my boys are 16". Before I got Harley, I could fit Chip into my L.L. Bean boat tote and carry him around. So if its not a place for versacart, they walk.

I really like the second one!! I tend to favor the neutral colors, though! Post how you like whatever you get!! And how it works for a teapot!
