Dear M&M's Mommy, This does seem like quite a problem. I would suggest feeding the M&M's before you eat lunch. All spoiled babies eat first right!? So if you feed them first then give them some new toys to play with you can sit down and eat you lunch with your hands. The other option is practice. Keep working at it and you could become quite good at eating with your feet.

I find this habit quite discusting and would NEVER do that (when my mommy is looking ). There are a few products available to sprinkle on her food - this will make the poop smell uninviting to her when it comes out the other end. All the products are about the same and work in most cases. Just ask at your local pet supply store. Depending on your dog's age, it could be a problem with a chemical imbalance. Young puppies can sometimes be anemic (not enough red blood cells) and this can cause them to lick and eat inappropriate objects. It would be a good idea to have her checked out by your vet at her next vaccine appointment. Just ask your vet to perform a CBC to make sure there is not issue with anemia. Great question!

| How are the M&M's doing with their new (always first) feeding time?
