Another day another coat question..... Does anyone know how long it CAN take for the adult coat to come in? Autumn is on her way to 12 months and I think she's losing her puppy coat just now. Her hair has always been so easy to brush and lately, real lately, it has been matting in a million little matts. What's your take on this?

See that's the hard thing. I think she's a cotton coat but she's always been so easy to brush. I could go several days without brushing her and now all of a sudden MATTS!!! And right down next to her body. It's like she has an undercoat that's coming out. Sylvia

Maybe this helps Hi do you groom regularly on a daily basis. Always mist the hair before brushing with a coat conditioner or a mixture of 1 part conditioner to 3 parts water. Also start with a ball point comb. Then use a slicker comb and finally a pin brush. This works great for me. Also use the pinbrush for the face and head. Hope this heps.LOL
