Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | What do you think? Zoey weighs in at 3lbs. at 9weeks. What are her chances of staying 7lbs or under?

| That's a really hard one to answer. That's like asking which bother will be tallest. Everything I have read is that your yorkie could be anywhere from 7 to 9lbs. When Zoey is 12 weeks, weigh him and then double the weight and add one pound.

Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | Wow! Thanks! It's good to at least have an idea. What gets me is that her dam and sire are both under 5 lbs! The sire's parents are both under 5 lbs. The dam's mother is under 5 lbs. Oh well! She's a love anyway. She was around 3.5 oz at birth and just starting growing like wild.

| I wasn't too concerned with Roxi's weight when we 1st got her but she is now 8 months and 2.8 lbs... I don't think she is going to gain too much more weight or not?? But she eats like a horse!!! I guess you never really can be positive..

Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | My girl Porsche, Zoey's mom, was 2.6 at 6 mos old. She is now 5 lbs. at 4 1/2 years. She is a good eater, but the vet just said at her yearly visit that she is a perfect weight for her size. I think she might be a little less than that normally. She is still nursing the moose, Zoey, albeit reluctantly. Zoey chases her down, the pig!! Just once in awhile, Zoey catches her and Porsche is tired of running. Point is, some dogs continue to grow. My hope is some don't!
