| New to YT and have new puppy Hello all - I am new to the board and have a 3 month old yorkie. Male, 3 lbs. I saw both the parents and their ears were up. His aren't. I've read on so many sights that they should be up by now. The vet says maybe not for a couple more months. I will love him either way of course and i really don't want to put him through taping. I just want to know if they may pick up anyway. Thanks in advance. Oh his name is Baxter and I am totally in love with him. |

| Welcome to you and Baxter. You didn't post a picture but if he has lot's of hair on his ears that could be what's holding them down. Trim, carefully, go down about 1/3". With the weight of the hair removed they just may come up. There's still time. |

| I finally figured out how to post the picture. His ears have picked up a little since we first got him. I have tried to trim the hair but he hates it and fights it. |

| Tia is nearly 10 weeks old and her ears have yet to come up; I wouldn't mind if they never stood up
