| Update on my little foster baby My little Tweedie had his dental and neuter on last Thrusday. He did very well the vet said he was a brave little boy but she found a mass in his lower jaw so he took a piece of it to have it biopsied. I got the results today My poor little guy has cancer and cant be removed it's the type that spreads really fast. I'm taking him in saturday to get an x ray to see if it has spread to his lungs or any were else yet. I beleive it has that would explain some of the weird stuff he has been doing latley. He has been breathing funny like he has a stuffy nose so i tried to use a baby thing and get it out but nothing came out, Sunday night he started to vomit and then had a seizure (sp) or something he was standing there and he kinda fell over and just started rolling all over the place and was shaking. So there is his update please keep him in your thoughts he is a little angel. if you would like to see an updated pics of him http://tinypic.com/96vwo5.jpg http://tinypic.com/96vwv9.jpg |

| Thank you very much. It's very sad. The vet said after the X ray if it has not spread then they could remove his lower jaw and if it has spread they can do radation and kemo (maybe) but he is 13 and I dont think I would want him to have to go thru all that i would like his last months to be filled with love. This is my last week at work we will be moving to AZ on 8/3 and i will find another vet there and get another opnion but for now he is going to get tons and tons of love and attention (gosh dont think i could give him more then i do already lol) I have only had him since 6/24 but i'm so glad he came to me |

| Oh Rene, you are an amazing person! I had tears welling up as I read your post and couldn't imagine what you must be going through. It is so sad that this happens to people and our little ones too. And even though it will be one of the hardest things to do, I think seeing how he is 13, that it would be best for his quality of life to not go through with the kemo and such. And to do what you said, give him the best life that you have to offer him while he is still here. I think with him being an older dog, that the kemo and everything else will just prolong his pain. I had to put my sheltie down last July for the same reason... he was 14. And I knew that it would only prolong his pain, because he was so old. It took everything I had to do it, but I knew it was the right thing to do even though I would miss him more than anything.... and still do. My prayers are with both of you! Lots of love and kisses!

| Oh I am so sorry to hear about the little one. Cancer is such an evil thing, and this poor little one shouldn't have to go through it. At least he has you to keep him spoiled and loved for whatever time god gives him on earth! |

| OMG! I am so sorry to hear about this! Bless you for giving this poor little baby such a good home and all the love he needs right now! I know it is so hard to lose a faithful friend. Even though it will be so hard to part with him, just think of all the happy times you are giving him! Bruce and I will have you both in our prayers! |

| My heart goes out to you and Tweedie I agree with you, at 13 it would be really hard on him to go through a lot of treatments. I went through this just about 2 years ago, so I know what your feeling. Just give Tweedie all the good lovin' he can take and just let him know really how much you do love him...
