I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | I use one on Joey occasionally, he has a jeweled bone attached to it, and he reminds me of John Travolta in his Saturday Night Fever role. The collar breaks away pretty easy if that's what your concerned about.

| I use break-away collars on my two youngest. They have ID tags on them even though they are micro-chipped. Have gates that restrict their movement, but if the tags become silent I stick my head around the corner to see what's up.

| I do the same with Bitsy. I sometimes put the cat's breakaway collars on her when we're at my parents so I can hear her jingle and know where she is. Before you put it on, make sure that it does breakaway easily depending on your puppy's weight. Some breakaway collars don't "break away" all that easily. A 7 lb cat can easily get the breakaway collar to "break away" when it's needed whereas it'll be more difficult for a 7 lb dog. Cats have more muscles.

Thats true! When the jingling stops they are passed out or up to something.

angies*custom*embroidery .... or ... http://cgi.ebay.com/PERSONALIZED-EMB...QQcmdZViewItem reasonably priced and a good product. Nice colors also. You can have dog's name and your phone number on it.
