| My Yorkie and Cat love each other is this uncommon? My sister got a Yorkie, and we already have two cats (Sophie and Ruppert) and Wizard our Chocolate Lab. My male cat Ruppert and the Yorkie CONSTANTLY play together, they are a year apart, but it’s the funniest thing to watch (however I do monitor it, and if anyone starts acting hurt they are separated). But does anyone else have a Yorkie that are friends with a cat? |

| Bailey pretty much hated all other animals.. including my older cat.. Till I brought home a baby kitty .. he LOVED her.. licked her ..almost to death the first night. She was soaking wet. Now they play and run around and sleep together.

Mom to Marty & Maddie Donating Member | Some of Marty's best playmates have been cats. He just loves them! It's funny to watch him play with a cat cause Marty definitely has a speed advantage, but a cat...well, they have grace and maneuvering advantage. |

| Oh yes! I've posted these pictures before but these are Tatum when she was much younger with her best friend, Bud. They would chase each other relentlessly, taking turns at who was the chaser and who was the chasee. They just loved each other. Bud was my MIL's cat and we were living with her at the time while our house was being built. Now we have two outdoor cats who don't want much to do with Tatum. She wants to play with them but they aren't interested. The only thing the cats like to do is run and pounce her early in the morning when she goes out for her first potty. But it's definitely possible for dogs and cats to love each other!

| I forgot I have this one also of Stormie, our Australian Shepherd, cuddling with one of the cats, Patches. It's almost hard to see that Stormie's arm is laid over Patches' back. It's pretty sweet.

| I have 4 cats. At first they wanted nothing to do with Kawi, but now they love him. They all chase each other around all the time. If the cats get sick of him they just jump up on something high,(I think they laugh at him when they do that because they know that he can't jump that high) He's finally going down the stairs so we had to block of the kitty food and litter. One of my cat's loves to cuddle with him, it's soooo cute, I have never been able to get a picture because they are usually sleeping on me Heather & Kawi |

| Great pictures everyone! Lucy adores Buster, where you find one you always find the other. I've seen them do some amazing things. For instance, if Lucy is gated in the kitchen and Buster comes up she will take food out of her bowl and push it under the gate to him! He loves her food On the other hand, if I have a hair band on the coffee table (Lucy is addicted), She will put her paws on the table and if she can't reach it she will whine and Buster will hop on the table and "push" it off to her!

| Oh yes, I have 8 cats (before you say anything I am on the board of our local Humane Society and its a working board and most of these are rescues from terrible conditions that were going to be put down but there is no more room in the Inn lol) I have 2 yorkies and they play with the cats all the time. Sometimes I am amazed that one of the cats doesn't put them in their place because they could but they don't. My older yorkie will clean some of the cats faces and you should see the way they look. It is so funny. They are all pretty much one big happy family. |

| As of now my cats don't want anything to do with Isabella. The cats and Tobey get along, especially Sonny and Tobey.
