| Personality Explosion!!! Well, it finally happened. We get to see the "real" Stanford, now that his mouth is healing up, and he is perhaps pain free for the first time since...? He starts the day by yapping for his breakfast. Eats, then runs around enticing me to play with him for a short time. He then barks at the cats to get off THEIR window ledge so he can look out the window. He stands watch, and barks at stray cats, other dogs, and the birds outside in the yard. He is much less interested in sleeping the day away, and much more interactive. My partner was here for a few days, and I caught him petting and kissing Stanford, who was lapping it up. Partner denied this when caught. But Stannie went in a plopped himself on partners bag when it was time for him to leave! Now Stanford is coming into different rooms in the house, like the office (which he never did before). He barks and taps my legs to be picked up. Does not like to be in the other room if I am in here, so I bring the bed in here, and he curls up on top of the printer. Very into hand and face licking, and leaping from chair to cat perch to other chair to floor, and repeating. A bundle of energy now. What a delightful change. I was going easy on him as I thought he was old, wanted to sleep, etc... but since the teeth came out, he is experiencing a PERSONALITY EXPLOSION! And I could not be happier. I love him so much. Thanks for letting me rave about the old man. |

| Stanford, you are my hero!! Great Job Stanford!! Suck Matthew in to thinking he's taking in an aging frail old man that needs nothing but a bed and some TLC. Wait until he's too far gone to protest and then EXPLODE with your real personality. Stannie - you are my hero for being such a genius!!
