| what play pen do you use, if any? hi there! i'm looking for the perfect play pen for Kash. i'm trying to train him and i need to confine him to a smaller space than my kitchen (but bigger than his crate). i don't want the octagon-shaped x-pens. i need something square or rectangular. i want it to be $50 or less. and it can't be mesh or cloth, and it can't have large spaces in between the bars (he's so small, he'd probably squeeze through). what "play pens" do you all use? Thanks! Mae

Donating YT Addict | I have the plastic one one from Walmart and kind of hate it. Very hard to close and open. If I had to do it again I would get one of these. I know a few folks here have them and love them....you can configure to a square.. Good Luck! http://www.seabreezepetitepens.com/

| I have this one: Amazon.com: North States Superyard XT Gate Play... Granted, I don't have my puppy yet, but you can add and take away pieces and put it into whatever shape you want! It is a little hard to open and close, but once it's set up it's great, plus it was $54.86 with free shipping! |

| We use an actual child/babies playpen. It's a square one. I think we ordered it from Target or Walmart. It was around $70 though. It has mesh obviously though.

| When we first got Blaze I used the pack n play that I had from when my kids were babies! Look in the paper and see if there are any yard sales or even a thrift store would have them for a good price!

| I would recommend you never use a mesh playpen. My friends puppy chewed a hole in hers then got his head caught and hung himself. Wire x-pens can be configured in a square. www.bargainpetstuff.com sells them for less than $50 with shipping. |

| correct me if i'm wrong scoobiedooiscoo, but i think the plastic pen is called the north state superyard xt portable playyard. i bought mine on walmart's website for $59 (price includes tax). there was no shipping because i chose to have it shipped to the store for free since i don't mind having to pick it up. petsmart sells the same thing for $89.99!!! that's just crazyness.
