| I had the worst feeling in the world!! We went out last night to have dinner at our friend's house. We made it back home by 8:30pm. When I walked in my husband runs up to me and says" I can't find Toby"....... I go balistic saying "what do you mean you can't find him!!" We all (me, my husband, my 2 kids) frantically search for him through the whole, house calling out his name... not a peep. By now I had the worst feeling in the pit of my stomach, my husband walks around to get a towel fron under the sink..... and low and behold TOBY!!! Napping in the cupboard under the kitchen sink. God I felt so releaved but a little upset that couldn't be bothered with barking or something to let us know he was okay..... These pups

| I would have just died... My skin son pulled that one time being under the covers and we had called the POLICE! I was devastated he was playing HIDE AND GO SEEK! Anyways onenight my yorkie Bleu he was at the foot of the bed and I woke up no where to be found called him everything and finally found him under covers but my heart sank! Bless your heart I know your heart was at your feet and instead of your heart being at your feet you needed your yorkeies heart "BEAT" at your feet! Hugs These stinkers can really shake us up!

| Oh how scary. I am so glad that Toby was found safe and sound taking a nap. I have had similar scares..... so I know how horrible it feels and it takes such a long time to "recover". |

| I am so scared of losing my Jeanie......I can't stand the thought. I think I would go nuts (temporarily)......seriously I would be so upset. That's why I take her with me when I am out - wherever I am........I won't leave her in the car. Don't even like leaving her home alone, hear of dogs getting stolen all the time........I am frightened of accidents, couldn't handle the thought of her getting hurt. I have to get a handle on all this because it does happen...... |

| All I would have had to do to get my Toby to come running was yell "Cheese". He knows what cheese is and loves getting his treat and would come running from anywhere for it. Glad your Toby was found safe and sound. :^)

| Our little peanut did that to our son one night. We were at a Halloween party when my son called and said he couldn't find him, he and the neighbors were out looking. We immediately came home and our son was holding him. He said that Peanut was under my bed the entire time! Little turkey bird. I didn't know whether to scold him or hug him...both of my boys I decided on the hugs. I'm glad your story had a happy ending!

| Oh wow! I bet you were relieved. Teddy spent some time, in an upstairs closet, when I went out to get my hair done. My husband came home in the meantime, went in to the closet to change his clothes, didn't know Teddy was behind him, and closed the door. When I came home, I said to him where's Teddy, and started calling him, and you know he didn't make a sound. I said to Tootsie, thinking she would not know what I was talking about, where's Teddy? She ran up the stairs, and sat in front of the closet door, and looked at me as if to say," in here".The poor little guy had been sitting there for over an hour and was he glad to see us! So, I know what you mean, and how scary it is when you cannot find them. Janice |
