| In America I love the way you can refer to our little ones as Furbabies It's wonderful being able to admit how besotted I am with my little gang, without being thought an idiot ! Over here, it's sort of frowned upon.....a dog is a dog, all the same, whether it's tiny or a massive guard dog Mine have little warm coats for the cold & they don't half get some funny looks wearing those from some of the old chaps in the village, can just imagine some of the comments if they had some of the cute little dresses I've seen on here. Probably why our shops never stock much in the way of clothes! |

| well i have to admit, before i found YT, i was *GASP* one of "those people" who thought people who dressed their furbabies were a little, ummm "odd" i have since seen the light and now i think it is more odd to see nekkid furbabies than clothed ones good for you for dressing your babies the way YOU want to! those people who give you odd looks are probably just jealous your babies as so well dressed

| I think we are lucky. It is so common in Los Angeles that I never thought twice about taking Lucy in public wearing clothes

| I am a 'naturalle' when it comes to dessing up my dog . In Canada, because it is cold people dress up their furbabies but I like to dress up mine even in the summer with a nice shirt/tee. When I first move to Burlington, my neighbours who has small dogs do not dress up theirs but now they do after seeing mine and they look gorgeous! I came from Southeast Asia and people there loves to dress up their dogs too! My hubby used to have so much to say when I dress my dog but now he got used to it.

| Yorkie clothes Meggie, I am surprised that Yorkies don't get more respect in the UK being that they have only one coat and could freeze without clothes! I dress mine everyday, he has all kinds of clothes. I buy used baby clothing-newborn size- and most Yorkies can wear them since no shops want to stock Yorkie clothes. I have gotton such cute clothing that way..Maybe you can try it?

| I think a lot of people in rural areas here think it is a ridiculous practice. So what! Yorkies were meant to wear clothes! </IMG> |

| I haven't seen anyone locally who dresses their furbabies. Bailey does wear a winter jacket because the vet recommend it (I was so excited that I had a valid excuse to buy her one!! She is soooooo cute in it!!!). Sometimes I wish I was 12 years old so I could dress her guilt-free. That said, I do talk about it - just fishing and trying to see if others would think I'm crazy if I did it. I guess I'm just still in the closet - for now. |

| I get mixed comments around here. Some people think it's cute and others don't get why we do it. Oh well! As long as our furbabies are happy that is all that matters!

Donating YT 7000 Club Member | I was also the kind of person who thought that people who dressed their dogs were nutty lol. We luckily don't get any smart comments around here...most people think its cute. Maybe you'll start a fashion trend (dogs wearing clothes I mean, not the dogs themselves)!

| Before I got my yorkies, I thought a dog is a dog is a dog... it would irritate me when people acted like their dogs were their kids. Now I am so much more enlightened My yorkies are my babies.
