| Questions??? Do all yorkies have to have teeth extracted between 8 to 10 months old?? What is considered a puppy farm?? My friend called me and told me she had called a woman that had an add in the local newspaper to see how much her puppies were....the woman told her that she had one female, fixed for $1500...not a show dog...as a pet. She had teeth extracted and other things done to her. What do you think...she has puppies that will be born in a few weeks...she has 6 of her yorkies preggo...isn't that alot. Would you buy from her. They are in a little outside shed. What do you think??

No I wouldn't buy from her. I would go running in the other direction...dogs in a shed are not my idea of proper housing. A lot of yorkies and toy dogs have retained baby teeth. So they tend to do an extraction when they are under for their spay/neuter.

| I agree..I wouldn't buy this puppy either. I wouldn't be too concerned about the tooth extraction. Alot of smaller puppies need to have some baby teeth removed. I am concerned about them being raised outside in a shed. Why aren't they in the house with her? Also, it bothers me that she has 6 dogs all pregnant at once.

| It is hard to say because some good breeders keep their dogs housed in a kennel. It would have to have heat and air and be well maintained. While the breeders who do this may be fine, it isn't my idea of the ideal situation. You would also have to see what health testing was done on the parents and if they know their lines. Are the parents standard? If they are in a shed, when are they socialized? Why are they breeding?

| Breeding... Seems as though this is her job. She told me it isn't all that bad but they had poop around and she did go there a few times and all the dogs were always in cages.

| Personally, I would not buy a puppy that was kept in a kennel. I prefer mine home raised and totally spoiled when I get them!
