YT Graphic Artist Donating Member | Carseat for convertible? Okay, there must be someone out there who has a convertible car to take their yorkies out and about in. If so, what type of carset do you use? I like the booster type seats, but most of them require bucket seats in the front and back. I only have them in the front. Also, the backseat is not that big. I have to measure how wide it is, but it doesn't look wide enough to fit some of the nice carseats that I have seen. Also, the carseat must have very secure tie-downs (for obvious reasons, as we don't want yorkies jumping out!) Anyone?

| I use the Lookout Luxury Suede Series for my VW Bug Convertible. I have the smaller one and the bigger one that will fit all four of my guys in it and both fit perfectly in the front or back. They come with an attachment to your seatbelt so you can hook them into their seats and I bought couplers to attach to the tie down so I can hook all of mine in at once. They LOVE riding with the top down in their carseats!

That is the brand! Mine are suede which is the only difference, but that's the Lookout! It's a great brand, easy to clean, and I trust my seats totally and completely! The only other thing I forgot to mention is a harness. Always use a harness to tether them in, not a collar. For obvious reasons. Wouldn't want to break their little necks should, god forbid, something happen.

| If you have an Eclipse Spyder, you should definately be fine with those carseats! Even the bigger ones! I was told I may have to get a seatbelt extender for the bigger one to fit in my seat, but my seatbelt went all the way around it fine. So before you buy an extender (if you buy the bigger seat), try it out first to make your own seatbelt doesn't already do the job.

| OK, last post for the next 15 minutes I swear haha The seats are made by ODonnell if you can find the company. I just went and asked Joan up front at the boutique where I got mine. If you want something nicer than the original quilted w/ sherpa, their site might show you everything they offer. I'm going to google and see if I can find it and if I do, I'll post it here for you and anyone else that might be interested!

| http://www.petsnap.com/lookout3.htm That is the one I have that comes with the pillow. The pillow is nice on trips when the top is staying up. Obviously, remove it when the top is down. lol I almost lost the pillow once leaving it in! You can get it in a HUGE array of colors with or without contrast piping on the edges. so they are bound to have one that will match nicely with your interior. That's why I opted for these. I wanted it to mesh well with the interior color.
