| Glad to hear it works, it took us about a week or so, but just gotta keep the ears somewhat shaved, as if it's really hairy, it weighs the ears down. |

| Boy I am NOT an expert, but here is what I do for ears and it has worked for me. I started taping as soon as I got the puppy home if ears were down. When ears flop, shave ears 1/2 on front and back. Clean ears. Method #1: Fold ears in half and tape close to the bottom. Leave in for 3 days, carefully cut tape out. Only tape ear ear that drops. If they continue to stand..leave alone. Method #2: Shave & clean ears..I use Breathe Rite strips from drugstore. They are very light weight and have sticky stuff on one side. Measure ear and trim strip if needed. Press strip to the inside of ear. Tape (I use breathable tape) around ears so that ears are flat and natural. After both ears are taped I take a long piece and connect the two ears so that they are set correctly on the head. Put another long piece on the back of the first so no sticky tape is exposed. This method I leave on for a week...Be patient..but consistant..they should stand if ear is not too thick. My little 7 mo. old took 3 months of work to get hers to continually stand, my little Biewer has only needed method #1 and holds his for over a week between taping...Hopefully he will not take long. I too love the floppy baby ear look, but decided to TRY to help the ears stand to adhear to standard. Now that the ears are up..just love the look! Just don't give up too soon. Ears go up and down especially during teething. Just keep your tape handy..you will be glad you did! You will be a pro in no time. Make sure you clean the ears each time you tape and smell for odors.
