| I've heard this can be a sign of dominance in a dog. She might be just trying to establish her place in your "pack". |

Phantom Queen Morrigan Donating Member | females hump to show dominance. if she's doing it to you then she doesn't see you as the pack leader and you need to correct that asap.

| It is a sign of donimance, and it shlould not be allowed. Think of a dopg pack, and youself as the pack leader. You need to react in the same way that the leader would if another dog tried to mount them. Use you hand to simulate a mouth and snap at her and nip her in the neck when she does it. she should stop immediately. there are also other ways that you need to establish dominance. You eat before she does. make her sit before you put her food down. I also make mine wait, even after I set it down, until I tell them OK. Once you have established yourself as the pack leader, the mounting issues should stop. |
