| The Middle Child We have recently decided to get a third Yorkie. I'm so excited! I've even bought outfits and toys already and she's not even born yet. Anyway, my question is do any of you with three or more babies have any problems with the No. 2 dog? Dolce has been the baby for so long that I don't want her to feel like she's being replaced especially since she's the Alpha dog in the house. She would even dominate my Great Pyreenes (sorry sp?) when he was alive and he was 157 lbs! My precious Prada is so laid back and has that "go with the flow" attitude that I'm not even worried about her. |

| Lucky you I am so envious. I want a second so bad but when we had two my Kassie used to attack to kill. Not exaggerating either she went for blood and his throat. Then would turn around and want to cuddle with him a few mins later , it was the oddest thing.

YT Graphic Artist Donating Member | Well, like you, my first yorkie (male) is very laid back. He took to number 2 great. My number 2 (female) is the "alpha" dog, but she accepted number 3 (also female) like it was her own puppy ... and then she had a litter of her own and we kept 2 more babies - so that makes 5! Anyway, there was never a problem of them getting along with each other. They all adjusted so fast! Good luck to you!!

| I have 3 and yes, my #2 does have 'middle child syndrome' and can get whiney if he feels the baby is getting more attention than he is I just love on him a little extra here and there and it seems to keep him content.
