Exclamation Found Yorkie In Plano Tx

My niece found a yorkie in my parents front yard. It's a little boy, has a rabies tag, last name Rodriquez no phone number. I told her to call the vet and see if they were open today to check for micro chip. I remember seeing one in my folks housing area last summer, cute, very tiny.

If anyone knows who this is, let me know!!!!

sorry if posted on wrong section but wanted it seen, I'll also post in regional.

The rabies tag should have a number that will correspond with the vet records and will list the owner or whoever had the vaccination given. Hope he finds his way back home!

Actually my folks live in Murphy. There was no phone number for rabies tag, just their last name. I think the vet was closed. Baylor she thought

That is so sad! I don't know anything about that stuff! I wonder how it got away from home! Poor baby! What will you do if you can't find his home?

I didn't mean a telephone number but a rabies registration number and most will have the vet's name on them. I've never seen one that doesn't but maybe it's just here.

Well do everything we can to find the owner and I believe he only lives few houses away, if not my dad will come this way in about month in a half and maybe...... but I'm pretty sure we'll find owners. I met them on a walk last summer if it is who I think it is, I just don't know which house is theirs.

Oh he's cute, she just sent me picture but I can't get it off my phone to post it. It doesn't look like the one I thought it was.

She called and they could only give her a last name, there was no number. I'm not sure if that was from the vet or what. I think the vet was closed. I'm sure that by tomorrow we'll be able to track down the owner.

That is sweet of her to be so diligent in trying to find the owner. Let us know the progress.

I'm going to have her send me a description of the collar and rabies # for verification purposes in claiming him.

He is cute! It is probably that he got lose. Once, Sasha got lose and decided to go to our neighbors house, which is not that close to our house, and we had to get in our car and go to our neighbor's house! Not only that, but she was having a party outside, which was far enough away that thankfully Sasha didn't notice it! All I had to do is get out of the car and she came running to me!! We were so mad at her for not coming to us at our own house but decided to come running to us at our neighbors that we put her in her crate for about a hour. By the way, she hates her crate!

I'm just hoping he isnt sick and on medication for anything minor or serious. My niece may not know what to do with him. My folks are actually up here in WA right now. If any yorkie savy people are in her area and can PM me a number if she needs help please do so. I'd appreciate it.
